This website is run by Earth Impact Alliance, an initiative of SmartLife Foundation, Office 204, Farooqi Gym Building, Al Quoz, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes connected with our mission.
You agree not to misuse the site: for example, by trying to gain unauthorised access, sending spam through our forms, scraping content in bulk, or doing anything that could damage the site or other people's use of it.
Content and intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the text, images, logos and design on this website belong to SmartLife Foundation or are used with permission. You may share links to our pages and quote short extracts with credit. Please ask before reusing larger parts of our content or our images.
The UN Sustainable Development Goals are a framework of the United Nations. Our use of them does not imply endorsement by the United Nations.
Your account
You can create an account with your email address and a password, or sign in with Google. Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account; you are responsible for what is done with it.
One account per person, please. We may disable accounts that are used to abuse the site or other members.
Payments and invoices
Some programmes and events have a fee. Payments are made to us directly (for example by bank transfer); our team then records the payment and issues an invoice, which you can view and print in your account. If you think an invoice is wrong, contact us and we will put it right.
Forms and submissions
When you use our forms you agree to give accurate information and not to submit anything unlawful, offensive or that infringes someone else's rights. Personal data you submit is handled as described in our privacy policy.
If you nominate someone for an award, please make sure they are happy to be nominated. We may contact nominees to confirm this before they are considered.
Impact Check
The Impact Check is an educational tool. Your result is a habit score based on your own answers, not a measured carbon footprint or professional assessment. Use it as a starting point for everyday changes, not as advice. The questions may change over time; each of your results keeps the version it was answered against.
Accuracy and availability
We work hard to keep this website accurate and available, but we provide it as it is. We do not guarantee that it will always be up to date or error-free, and we are not liable for loss arising from your use of it beyond what the law requires.
Links to other sites
We link to other websites that we think are useful. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Dubai.
